Budgets
Budgets allows you to keep track of how much you are spending on certain categories. Each budget item displays the Category, Monthly Budget, Current Month total, the Remaining amount before you reach your limit, and a Percent Used bar indicating how much of your budget you have used. If the amount you spent during the current month is more than your budget the item in the list will be highlighted in red.
- Create Budget: Adds a new budget to your list. Select a category and enter the amount you want to stay under each month.
- Add All Categories: Adds all categories that are currently being used in your ledger for the selected year. The budget values are set to a $0.00 budget by default.
- Edit Budget(s): Select a budget from the list and you can change the category and/or amount for the budget. You can edit multiple budget amounts at once.
- Delete Budget(s): Deletes a budget from your list. You can delete multiple budgets at once.
